There's also a wealth of innovative and exciting modern pattern wallpaper and finishes to choose from. 'Big, baroque designs have been popular for the past few years, and the most up-to-date interpretations of these designs are more tonal, for example grey on grey,' says Liz Cann, design director at Zoffany. 'Metallics have also been around for a while, but now we're also seeing more pearlised and iridescent inks, and designs with a bit of a sheen, as well as smaller-scale, prettier prints.'
